The Hallmoor Book Fair is just around the corner, happening in school from 22nd to 26th April! We’re looking forward to an exciting week of books, read on to find our more:
Get ready for a week filled with incredible books, exciting activities, and a chance to help our school library flourish! Here’s why your child (and you!) won’t want to miss it:
Book Cover Design Competition
We’re running a competition for pupils to design a book cover for their favourite book or a new book. This is the perfect opportunity to unleash their creativity. We can’t wait to see their fantastic designs! The winner will receive vouchers to spend on books at the fair.
Book Fair Visits
During the week, each class will be timetabled to visit the Book Fair. This is their chance to explore a fantastic selection of the newest and best books from over 60 publishers, including exclusive titles that you won’t see in the shops. They can then choose stories from the fair for their “wish list” of books they’d love to take home and enjoy.
Buy a Book, Build Our Library!
Here’s the best part – every book your child purchases at the fair earns free books for our school library! In October 2023, we were thrilled to receive nearly £200 worth of new books for everyone to enjoy, thanks to your amazing support. So, by encouraging your child’s reading journey, you’re also helping to build a bigger and better library collection for the entire school!
