Celebrating World Book Day

Today, we’re celebrating World Book Day, which provides a fantastic opportunity for our children to share with us their favourite books, whether it’s an epic fantasy adventure or an encyclopaedia! Books are a great way to learn about the world around us, spark our imagination and further our understanding of topics that interest us.  We have an extensive collection of books at Hallmoor School in order to cater to our diverse range of pupils, each with their own unique reading…

We have an extensive collection of books at Hallmoor School in order to cater to our diverse range of pupils, each with their own unique reading preferences and capabilities. There really is something for everyone when it comes to books, and we love being a part of each child’s reading journey.

To celebrate World Book Day this year we’ll be dressing up as our favourite characters and SLT reading to small groups of children. There will also be cross curricular activities related to the books classes have chosen.

We look forward to a brilliant day celebrating books!

The event is designed to support students and their parents/carers in exploring the many pathways available after Year 11 and Year 13, helping them make informed decisions about their future education and career goals. Whether your child is considering academic study, vocational training, or work-based learning, the Careers Fayre offers valuable insights and guidance to find the right fit.

Families will receive a letter advising a time slot.
